Philodendron ‘Florida Beauty’
Lobed leaves that look half maple, half monster—and then someone spilled cream across them. Variegation runs from soft yellow to white in blocks and splashes; no two leaves agree. Petioles are often flushed red and a little fuzzy. It is a climber. On a moss pole you get the full, dramatic silhouette.
Bright, indirect light keeps the cream from burning and the green from taking over. Water when the top of the aroid mix is dry. Stable warmth and a pole will do more than extra fertilizer.
Light: Bright indirect. Too much sun scorches the white; too little and it greens up.
Water: Dry down an inch, then soak.
Soil: Chunky aroid mix.
Support: Moss pole. This plant wants to go up.
Pet note: Toxic if chewed.
