Maranta leuconeura (Prayer Plant)
Low, leafy, and a little bit theatrical. Broad green leaves with darker brushmarks sit flat by day and fold up at night like hands. No red veins, no pink splash—just that rich, patterned green and the same nightly movement as its flashier cousins.
Easy for a prayer plant. Bright, indirect light. Keep the mix evenly moist with room-temp water; it will crisp at the edges if the air is desert-dry or the tap is very hard. It stays low and spreads sideways, so it is made for a table or the front of a shelf.
