Named after the Malaysian state of ‘Sabah’ is another unusual hoya, native to the lush rainforests of Southeast Asia. ‘Sabah’ features slightly elongated, ovate-shaped leaves of light green, intricately-patterned with dark green veining. Over time, the leaves of ‘Sabah’ can grow quite lush and large. Like other hoyas, ‘Sabah’ loves to climb or trail. When it blooms, you can expect clusters of waxy, star-shaped flowers in porcelain hues with soft pink centers.
