Big, glossy, hand-shaped leaves dusted with white—as if a spider walked across every leaflet and left a trail. New growth comes in greener; the speckling builds as the leaf ages, so no two fronds match. It makes a full, architectural plant without needing flowers to earn its spot.

Happy in bright shade indoors or on a sheltered porch. Direct afternoon sun will bleach or burn the white. Keep the soil evenly moist in the growing season and a little drier in winter. It likes a rich, well-draining mix and room to become a statement plant.

Light: Bright indirect to part shade. Protect from hot sun.
Water: Evenly moist; don’t let it bone-dry or sit in a puddle.
