Seascape strawberries (Fragaria × ananassa 'Seascape') are premium, everbearing/day-neutral plants, supplied as dormant bare root crowns for easy planting. Each bundle includes 10 healthy crowns with fibrous roots and emerging crowns, ready to establish quickly in well-drained, slightly acidic soil (pH 5.5-6.8).
Developed by the University of California, this top-performing variety is renowned for its prolific, continuous production from early summer through fall (often starting fruiting within 3 months of planting)—yielding large, firm, conical, bright-red berries with excellent sweet-tart flavor, glossy appearance, and juicy texture—perfect for fresh eating, desserts, freezing, jams, or preserves.
These vigorous plants grow 8-12 inches tall with dark green foliage and spread via runners. Self-pollinating and highly productive, plant them this year in full sun (ideally 6+ hours), space 12-18 inches apart in beds, rows, containers, or hanging baskets—provide mulch and consistent moisture.
