Heritage red raspberry (Rubus idaeus 'Heritage') is a premium, everbearing variety. This vigorous, upright plant features sturdy canes (often pruned for shipping to 12-24 inches or similar) and a robust fibrous root system ready to establish quickly in well-drained, slightly acidic soil (pH 6.0-6.8).
One of the most popular fall-bearing raspberries worldwide, this self-pollinating (self-fruitful) everbearer produces two crops: a moderate midsummer harvest on old canes and a heavier, extended fall crop (often larger and higher quality) on new canes until frost—delivering medium-to-large, brilliant red, extremely firm berries with excellent sweet flavor, ideal for fresh eating, freezing, jams, jellies, or preserves.
