The Gala apple is a popular modern variety. Ripens mid to late September. Fruits are medium in size (typically 2.5–3 inches in diameter).Sweet, crisp, aromatic white to creamy flesh; versatile for fresh eating, salads, snacking, baking, cooking, cider, and sauces.
