The dragon, in pale green. Same quilted, armor-plate leaf as classic Dragon Scale—deep veins, raised texture—but washed in mint and sage instead of dark olive. New leaves can come in almost silvery; they toughen and keep that reptile-skin look as they harden off.

This is still an alocasia. Bright, indirect light. Chunky, airy mix. Water when the top is dry, never leave it swampy. It likes warmth and steady moisture in the growing season and will sulk in a cold, wet pot.

Light: Bright indirect. No hot sun on the mint.
Water: Dry down slightly, then water. Don’t let it sit in a saucer.
